Village of Tularosa Water Donation

When our neighbors need a helping hand, we step up.

The Village of Tularosa is facing a severe water shortage, impacting essential needs across the community. Last week, CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico joined local partners to help provide immediate relief.

Together, CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico and CHRISTUS St. Vincent contributed toward the purchase of bottled water, with all funds going directly toward getting water to Tularosa. This week, more than 72,000 bottles of water were delivered to the Tularosa Senior Center for distribution and storage.

We’re grateful to everyone who made this effort possible, including our Food and Nutrition Services Director Jim Bradburn, Shamrock Foods account executive Robert Reeves, the truck drivers who delivered the water, and the many volunteers who helped unload it.
